Your Imaging Experience

We want the best results for you and your healthcare provider.  Be sure to wear comfortable clothes without metal fasteners, such as zippers, buckles, or snaps.  You may be asked to remove jewelry or other metal objects.  Depending upon the type of imaging exam, you may be asked to change into scrubs.  The technologist will show you to the changing room where you can store your personal belongings in a secured locker.

Feel free to bring your favorite music CD.  We will supply you with headphones so you can listen to music during the exam.  We also have relaxation medication available if you feel anxious.  If this medication is administered, you will need to have a driver with you.   The technologist will give you a call button so that you can talk to the technologist if you have questions or concerns during the exam.

After Your Exam

A board-certified Suburban Imaging radiologist will interpret your images and the report will be sent to your healthcare provider.  Your provider will contact you to discuss the results.
