Our interventional radiologists provide diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care for conditions including uterine fibroids, varicose veins, peripheral vascular disease, abdominal aortic aneurysm and tumors. Your doctor will give you a referral to the Interventional Radiology Clinic at Suburban Imaging Coon Rapids or the Minnesota Vascular Clinic.
You will have a diagnostic imaging exam (CT, MRI or ultrasound) to diagnose and plan a course of treatment. You will have a consultation with an interventional radiologist to discuss the imaging results and treatment options.
Depending on the results of your diagnostic studies, an interventional radiology procedure may be recommended. Procedures are performed by an interventional radiologist at a hospital, at Suburban Imaging Coon Rapids or at the Minnesota Vascular Clinic.
