Suburban Imaging utilizes the latest innovations in medical diagnostic equipment and subspecialized protocols.  This provides the radiologists with superior images to ensure diagnostic accuracy and consistency.

As a method of continuous quality improvement, our radiologists participate in a peer review program to review each other’s diagnostic interpretations for consistency and accuracy. Additionally, they participate in continuing education opportunities to acknowledge advancements in diagnostic equipment, emerging techniques, protocols, and procedures. Our highly skilled and compassionate staff is trained to provide a positive patient experience. This is accomplished by careful preparation of the patient for the exam, a detailed explanation of what to expect, and consideration of the patient’s individual needs and comfort.             

Our professional staff at Suburban Imaging works together with your clinic and healthcare provider to deliver accurate reports within 24 hours of the examination.  In our survey process, this has been expressed as a quality indicator and service measure for both patients and healthcare providers. Our staff and radiologists strive to achieve quality care, satisfaction, and a comfortable experience for each patient.

As an additional quality measure, Suburban Imaging is voluntarily participating in Medicare's Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI). This new initiative ensures the highest level of quality care for patients who have Medicare insurance. During July 1 to December 31, 2007, Suburban Imaging Radiologists will report information to Medicare about frequent services provided to patients with certain medical conditions. This information will help Suburban Imaging and Medicare measure the quality of care patient's receive at our facilities.
