Suburban Imaging Radiologists Named Top Doctors for 2010
Congratulations to Aaron Binstock, MD; Eric Bressler, MD and Kevin Henseler, MD for being named Top Doctors for 2010 by Mpls/St. Paul Magazine.
Dr. Binstock and Dr. Henseler are partners in the North Group of the practice. Dr. Binstock is the Group President and the Director of Oncology Imaging; he specializes in body imaging. Dr. Henseler is the Medical Director of Radiology for Mercy and Unity Hospitals; he specializes in interventional radiology.
Dr. Bressler is a partner in the South Group of the practice. He is the past South Group President and currently the chairman of the South Business Development Committee. He specializes in neuroradiology and body imaging.
The Breast Center of Suburban Imaging
We have partnered with the Minnesota Department of Health, Multicare Associates and the SAGE program to provide free breast cancer screenings. The next SAGE clinic will be at Multicare Blaine on Wednesday, April 21, 2010. Eligible women can receive a free mammogram and a pap smear. Also, new participants will receive $20. Suburban Imaging – Coon Rapids
We are now able to perform First Trimester Screening exams in our Ultrasound department. A non-invasive exam, First Trimester Screening is performed during the first 9-13 weeks of pregnancy. It measures if the baby is at an increased risk for certain chromosomal disorders, such as Down syndrome. The screening exam includes a blood test and an ultrasound exam, both performed at Suburban Imaging - Coon Rapids.

We now offer on-site creatinine testing for CT and MRI contrast exams if a current result (within the last 60 days) is not available.

Edina, MN – July 25, 2008 – Suburban Imaging®, a service of Suburban Radiologic Consultants, Ltd., today announced its partnership with Fairview Southdale Hospital and Southdale Medical Diagnostics, a group of 21 independent medical practices, to open a new imaging center that sets the standard for physician collaboration, delivering highest-quality patient care. The partnership brings independent physician practices and the hospital together to offer patients convenient access to state-of-the-art imaging services. The new imaging center, called Suburban Imaging, brings a collaborative business model to the Twin Cities health care market whereby local physicians and health care systems share medical imaging assets, rather than duplicating hardware and services. The center will provide medical imaging services to more than 50 medical clinics, including Fairview Crosstown Clinic. “As independent physician groups, each of us could own and operate imaging centers within minutes of a hospital, but it would be at a significant cost to our business and patients,” said Owen O’Neill, M.D., orthopedic surgeon and president of Minnesota Orthopaedic Specialists. “Instead, we joined the partnership with Suburban Imaging to share the highest-quality medical imaging equipment, keeping patient and payer costs down while providing highest-quality, cost effective care.” “The new partnership not only keeps clinics and hospitals more cost competitive, it also provides better patient care when physicians collaborate to reach a diagnosis,” said Kevin Gustafson, M.D., president of Suburban Imaging/Suburban Radiologic Consultants. “We are pleased to offer this new, collaborative business model that benefits patients and physicians.
